Animals do speak if you slow down and listen

Today is the perfect day to think about your animals. Many times they will communicate with you if you tune in. I believe we move so fast that we never understand. Since they do not have a voice we cannot hear their tone or words, we have to watch their body language. When they are lathargic something may be wrong. If they change their daily habits, not eating, drinking or sleeping well something could be wrong. So if you love them, keep an eye on them. Something changes get them checked out. My dogs have always been a part of the family, and we love them.

The first 55 years are always the toughest

Good Saturday morning to you and your family. My birthday is fast approaching and I saw this statement; "the first 55 years of childhood is always the toughest".  I smile when I consider that statement and make decisions on what to do with that day. What ever happens it will be fun and with my family. What ever age you are at, find a way to have some fun with your family. I hope the next 55 are as much fun. The week of the Tigernado in Oklahoma City

Great day for review. Here are the topics we touched on this week.
 We started talking about planning and putting fear into action. I also ask you what you were doing to move forward on a daily basis because we do not want to stay were we are today. I ask you to visit your hometown. If you can not visit then spend a few minutes thinking about where you started and some of the struggles that you have overcome to get where you are today. Never forget your past, it could tell you a lot about where you are now

I just visited my hometown. That is always a good reminder of where I came from, how I started. It is a good reminder of the struggles of youth.
It is always good to visit where you started. Learn how to use that experience to remind yourself of the feelings of growing up and being in the survival mode, just trying to get by. These visits help us appreciate where we are today. We may not be where we want, gratefully we are not where we were. I hope this is a good reminder for you.

What are you doing everyday to get better

Do you ever get bored at the office?
So you do the same thing everyday and it is draining you. Does it seem difficult to make progress? Should you shake it up? How can you shake it up might be the better question. Find a way to challenge yourself. Can I do tasks faster, or can a take care of nagging stacks of filing? I am not sure what you do for income, but I will bet there is a way to make it more interesting in most cases. Think outside of the box, find a new way to do an old task. In the end it is all about the attitude you approach the task. So if you are struggling to make progress, look at a way to shake things up and start having fun.  Then you will make progress.

Transform fear into action

We talk about being frozen with fear, and transforming it into action.
When I think of fear many of us understand the feeling just before we get on a roller coaster. You know the feeling that I am talking about. The nervousness, and little scared to get into the car. The funny thing is once we get into the car and the ride takes off we could go breathless. It could scare the pants off of you. But what happens so many times is we survive our 3 or 4 minute ride. get off the car and we look at our friends and say "let's do it again". What the heck, I thought you were scared. Yeah, but it was fun! What if we approached work like that. We all have tasks that could make us feel that way. Jump in knock the task out and move on. Don't let fear stop you.

Always start with the end in mind

Remind yourself why you do, what you do.
My guess if you are listening to videos you are trying to get better. That is a great start. I hope you have a long term goal. Something that you really, really want. Something that you would sacrifice energy, time and money to complete. That my friend is the power of the made up mind. It also tells me that you know that you know your end result. If you don't have that strong of a desire it will be easy to get sidetracked. So really look in the mirror and ask yourself what is it that I really want 5, 10 years from now. What am I willing to invest my free time in to  become better than I am today? I hope you commit, that is a great start. Always start with the end in mind.

You are their world

Love those who will love you when you have nothing else you can give them.
Sorry people, I see my dogs. Remember we are their whole life. We should shelter, feed, comfort, love, water and provide for them. We go about our lives knowing that they are home waiting on us. Don't take advantage of the love they provide. Many times it is the best part of your day. They greet us for years each day at the door. One of the saddest days I can remember was coming home and my puppies for the first time they did not come tearing around the corner when they heard me come in the door. The years pass quickly and there is no preparing for the end. So love them while you have them. Just think of all the great memories you can build.

Have you run into a pole lately

Have you read this statement: I want to be the person you look down you phone and smile when it rings. You are so distracted that you then walk into a pole.
I don't want you to get hurt, but do want to be that strong of a distraction. All that to say becareful with the phone and driving. I have read that the phone is as bad for drivers as alcohol. Your ability to focus is so impared.

Today is a great day for reviewing the past week, what did you accomplish?

We talked a lot about the stages in life this week. We talked about you having choice to the kind of life you want, by making the right decisions each day. We started the week taking about planning and working your plan.
This is a constant reminder that you have the ability to determine your future. All the small decisions you make will make a difference. I think about it like I do my diet. I choose everyday what food I eat. If I need to loose a few pounds than I need to put down the burger and eat more greens. But if my mind set is that it does not matter what I eat than what should I expect. Zig said it like this: you have to put something in to get something out.
