This Past Christmas my
brother surprised me the
with the best gift.
It was a memory of
my Blanca saved
on a plaque.
It was a picture of
me holding my puppy.
We were playing Yahtzee
with my Mom.
Blanca, it has been
almost a year and
you are still in our
memories daily.
When I wake up at
2AM I just smile
and think of her.
That is what time
she would wake us
to go eat and care
for her.
