What happens when we have a life event. We lose a loved one a job or some other tragedy. You know what I mean. Something disrupts your daily routine. It makes us change. So many of you know we lost our dear sweet Blanca. Yes, she was a dog. She was loved very much. Each day we had routines. When she cried we feed her took her out or and cuddled with her to take care of her. It was time consuming. We knew she would cry at night much like a baby we would get up to tend to her needs. We changed our routines, the entire household worked around her needs. Once she was gone we all had voids in our time. We needed to find the NEW NORMAL. That is how life is at times. We needed to redefine our sleep habits. We had to fill in the voided spaces of time that we spent feeding her and cuddling with her.
That made me think about being intentional about setting a NEW NORMAL without a loss. Could we intentionally change our life without a life changing event?
