And he put me in front of his friends.

He is a great brother with a wonderful heart.

I guess as I have gotten older that my passion for life is strong, and my expressions on paper seem to help the emotions heal.  If you are a passionate person the good is magnified, and so is the bad. My life for the most part is lived on the good side. But in order to have pleasure you must understand pain. Message received. Yesterday was hard, and today will begin to get better. Time will help. It is amazing that in the last 48 hours I have had phone calls, emails, texts, and Facebook responses from  hundreds of friends past and present. I wanted to thank you all.
RIP My Little friend. 
She is beatiful inside and out.

I say I am lost for words, but I am overwhelmed.
I say that I am at a loss for emotions,
yet I feel so much at one time that it paralyses me.
I can only tell you that my unthinkable is happening today.
I don't expect everyone to understand my loss.
I am losing my best friend of 18 years and it is my decision.
Her pain in life is too much for her.
Her spirit is strong, and her love of life is great.
But I can not let her exist just for my selfish reasons.
I'm going to miss her more that I want to admit.
But I am doing this because I love her.

I have cared for you the best we could

Being an old Navy guy this picture hits home.

Notice how calm the waters are around the ship.

I remember nights like this topside on the USS Lewis and Clark SSBN 644.

Mid-watch, nothing but you the ship and water.

Don't you wish you could capture some of those times and just use them every once in awhile when life gets going too fast?
