Never Give Up

One of the biggest achievements of my life was found on a high school web site.  It had all the history from my high school cross country team.  Someone selected me for the Never Give Up section. Please understand my graduation was well over 30 years ago.
So at church the weekly overview of the service had an article "If At First You Don't Succeed-Try, Try Again".
It's a phrase we have all heard when discussing how to be successful at something. "Never give up", or "Get back on the horse" are phrases used to encourage people to take the risk of attempting something even after failing the last time.
Did you know:
Walt Disney's first cartoon production company went bankrupt.
Barbara Streisand's New York stage debut was in a show that closed after one night.
Elvis Presley got a C in high school music, and his teacher said he could'nt sing.
John Grisham's first book, A Time To Kill, was rejected by 16 agents and 12 publishers.
When Thomas Edison was asked about the thousands of failed attempts to create the light bulb, he responded that he was not a failure. He had found another way to not invent a light bulb. History would be much different if these people had given up. So feel a little proud when you don't give up. You never know what is right in front of you.
How close are you to achieving your goals, and how much effort does it take?
Have the right attitude and it will make it easier.
