Animals do speak if you slow down and listen

Today is the perfect day to think about your animals. Many times they will communicate with you if you tune in. I believe we move so fast that we never understand. Since they do not have a voice we cannot hear their tone or words, we have to watch their body language. When they are lathargic something may be wrong. If they change their daily habits, not eating, drinking or sleeping well something could be wrong. So if you love them, keep an eye on them. Something changes get them checked out. My dogs have always been a part of the family, and we love them.

You are their world

Love those who will love you when you have nothing else you can give them.
Sorry people, I see my dogs. Remember we are their whole life. We should shelter, feed, comfort, love, water and provide for them. We go about our lives knowing that they are home waiting on us. Don't take advantage of the love they provide. Many times it is the best part of your day. They greet us for years each day at the door. One of the saddest days I can remember was coming home and my puppies for the first time they did not come tearing around the corner when they heard me come in the door. The years pass quickly and there is no preparing for the end. So love them while you have them. Just think of all the great memories you can build.
Sunday is always for my loved ones.
You still put tears in my eyes.
Miss B, love you
Your pop.

One year ago this week

April 24th marks one year since my
little friend left us. Ms Blanca.
Her spirit is still strong in
the house each night.
She used to wake up early
each morning to go outside
and to get a mid-night snack.
Now when I wake up at 2:30 AM
I just laugh and think she
is right here with us.
Rest well my buddy.
We love you.
Your pop!

What is your greatest animal story

I have shared for over 1,000 days
stories of my life and pups.
Share your favorite  story with me.
It could be short, or longer.
It should be a happy story.
Or a story of remembrance.
Here is one short story about my Blanca.
I lost her a year ago the 24th of this month.
One day when I was at work she
was in the yard playing.
It was really quiet, and like with children
that is not always a good thing.
Next thing you know there is a loud clanking
noise. This little character had stuck her head in the tin watering can and was backing up trying desperately to get out. It was one of those funny scary times. You did not want her to get hurt, but it was just funny that she would get into things like that.
Miss my Ms B, she was 18 years old and not a day goes by we are not reminded of her spirit.
Love you girl.
What is your story?

Gifts from the heart

This Past Christmas my
brother surprised me the
with the best gift.
It was a memory of
my Blanca saved
on a plaque.
It was a picture of
me holding my puppy.
We were playing Yahtzee
with my Mom.
Blanca, it has been
almost a year and
you are still in our
memories daily.
When I wake up at
2AM I just smile
and think of her.
That is what time
she would wake us
to go eat and care
for her.
Miss and love you B.
Have a great day!

This is Jake live

What did you complete?

Maybe completing something means taking your dog for a walk today.
That would be perfect, since today is about your loved pets.
Have a great day!

Jake

Jake has some great habits.
He knows when to eat.
When to go outside.
When it is time to get off the computer.
And when it is time to go to sleep.
I know many people that wish
they had that much discipline,
Thanks for showing the way Jake.
Have a great attitude today!

Thanks my friend for helping
keep our house safe at night.
Miss B.
We lost her last year,
but think of her each day.
Miss you girl.
Love your pop.

What do you think your pets are thinking?

Do they get jealous?
Are they patient?
Do they get mad at you?
Truth is they love you.
They depend on you for everything.
You are their everything.
Have a great attitude today.
